Well this was unexpected!

We work up on Sunday morning to head to the park so that bunny may play baseball and I would get to walk with the dog when we saw this:

My Bunny's pick up is the one of the right (The dodge) The police determined that one of my ghetto neighbors was speeding in the neighborhood, hit the pick up on the left which slammed into my bunnies, pushing BOTH trucks aboutr 4 feet the right.

DE MADRE...

So yeah... did I mention that the truck has a $500 deductable? SHIT!

I said YES to the dress!!!

Today I went dress shopping with my mom and sister. I had made an appointment with David's Bridal with the Idea that I would try on dresses, have them not fit and then go to a seamstress with little hope..


I am happy to say that I found a beautiful dress that fits my body and will fit the growing baby to make things better, it was not too expensive!! yay!

It is def a traditional dress which I thought I would never buy but I think I look nice in it!


I also go my bride's maid dresses at a steal and I am happy that the girls wont have to pay that much for them.

Now its the cake and decorations.

Past the "DAnger ZOnE"!

Today I make 12 Weeks and end my First Trimester.

This is when I am supposed to shout from the roof tops and announce my pregnancy to everyone.

Well lots of people know, but I have not made a facebook announcement or anything.

Well being 12 weeks is a milestone because now, miscarriage is low and the baby will GROW GROW GROW.

I have an appointment on Monday where they will look at the baby's neck with a superpowerful sonogram and tell me the "statistical probability of him having a developmental disease."

As someone who works in insurance with all populations (including pre natal care) I believe this test in NOT MEDICALLY NECESSARY..

I mean its not even a sure fire way to know ANYTHING... who came up with this shit.. and its now a routine exam for everyone.. bULL..

Well I am going in just to get a chance to see my baby's heart beat but really I dont want to be scared of the results..

so wish me luck !

I swear I LOVE CHEESE!!!!

But no I barf it or poop out each time... he LOVES

Now, I LOVE CHeerIOS But I needs me some CHEESE!!!

Oh well...

Wedding Bells and Babies and insanity

It now seems that I finally have the wedding date and reception crap all figured out. Yes, I am getting Married. A shot gun wedding no less. Actually we planned on getting married... eventually...

We planned the pregnancy just did not think it would be sooo fast. Ahhh fertility...

So the wedding is going to be on October 9 in the Club house of where I live.

I will have about 100 guests where about 20 are people I personally know well..

This is has been so crazy and frustrating and being pregnant while planning this is not easy.

My poor hunny has had to hold me while I cry over color themes and invitations and DJs and tables and chairs.

I have felt like not doing anything and skipping town to Las Vegas....

In all I am happy because I have a Date and actually have a catering company that will NOT bankrupt my parents.

Now the next disaster... The wedding dress I will be wearing while SIX (6) MONTHS Pregnant...

STINKY MAMA!

Today marks my 11th week of pregnancy. One thing I can tell you that is pain is being a SMELLY MAMA! I swear I sweat more than before and therefore my deodorant gives up on me! I walk about 2 blocks from where I park to work and in this heat... ewwww! Luckly I have a survival kit at my desk/cubicle and freshen up when I need it! I wonder if anyone else has been a stinky mama!!

Scary Baby Stuff

Today was a bit scary for me. For the past few weeks I have been feeling flank and lower groin pain. I know that most of this is normal as I "stretch." However this pain was weird and this morning, while flipping over I felt sharp pain... I had enough...

We went to the Memorial Miramar ER where I got all sorts of check ups. It turns out that I am 10 weeks pregnant not 8 and that I have a UTI.

This is GROSS but also common... so, me who wont take anything more than an Asprin for ANYTHING had to take ZOFRAN for nausea while I drank a gallon of water for the ultrasound and now for a WEEK I have to take MACROBID for the UTI.. I have been assured by several people that its OK....

oh well.. I am very happy I decided to go the ER because a UTI can cause me to lose the baby.

While they did the ultrasound I was on high alert to see the baby and the heart beat... at first I could not see him... (it turned out they were looking at my Ovaries first.. which has a cyst in it too! DAMN IT!) then I saw him and the flicker of the heart beat... it was a relief...

So I am good for now... took the nasty MACROBID, ate and am looking foward to wash my hair and sleep on clean sheets!

Motherhood

I am happy to announce that I am expecting my first child! It was not a "surprise" as we wanted to have a baby, we just did not expect it to happen so soon! I am about 8 or 9 weeks along with a possible end of January, early February Due date.

It has been difficult dealing with nausea all day long and not feeling like me, crying spells and feeling blah. Overall I am excited to be on this journey and hope to record it here.
