Wedding...

Well it has a been a long time since I've written. I want

to say its because I have been busy, which IS True, but its mostly me just not feeling up to it! AHhhh not too much

discipline here! Well I married my beautiful Rabbit Rudy on October 9,2010. It has been absolutely crazy and people who get married more than once and have the Party are CRAZY!!! Planning Planning, tears and all but everything went well.. NO PROBLEMS at all! The only issue was that we started late, but not because the Bride was late.. NOPE I was in the car for 40 mins, we were waiting for my beautiful Grandma that due to her disability took a while to get to the ceremony.
The feed back has been great. Everyone Loved the FOOD, the Music and ofcourse the OPEN bar with everything you may

want to drink! I

did not dance too much, I felt the weight of my baby boy and did not want to get too tired. I had fun watching everyone enjoy themselves.

The ceremony was wonderful, my sister and bridesmaids the grooms men were perfect. I am happy! I really am! I am now Mrs. Aura Vanessa Abreu!

Week 16

I will be 16 weeks pregnant this Friday and so far its been okay. I have thankfully not gained any weight. In fact I lost over 10lbs. I have no real cravings and am eating far less than I did before.

In all the baby seems to be fine but man.. no one told me how painful pregnancy would be. If I sneeze too much or move just so.. bam! Hell of a pain on my sides..

On a separate note I decided to stop following a practicular blogger. I found this person interesting but in the end I got tired always reading "poor me" entries. I thought it would be interesting to learn about someone so different but really this person is extremely sensitive to any comments contrary to what she writes but has no problem complaining about everyone in her life. I understand her condition for the most part, but come on! Not everyone sucks! So its that person's blog and everyone can write what they want. So in the end I stopped trying to make my self be accepting and have moved on...

I swear I LOVE CHEESE!!!!

But no I barf it or poop out each time... he LOVES

Now, I LOVE CHeerIOS But I needs me some CHEESE!!!

Oh well...

Wedding Bells and Babies and insanity

It now seems that I finally have the wedding date and reception crap all figured out. Yes, I am getting Married. A shot gun wedding no less. Actually we planned on getting married... eventually...

We planned the pregnancy just did not think it would be sooo fast. Ahhh fertility...

So the wedding is going to be on October 9 in the Club house of where I live.

I will have about 100 guests where about 20 are people I personally know well..

This is has been so crazy and frustrating and being pregnant while planning this is not easy.

My poor hunny has had to hold me while I cry over color themes and invitations and DJs and tables and chairs.

I have felt like not doing anything and skipping town to Las Vegas....

In all I am happy because I have a Date and actually have a catering company that will NOT bankrupt my parents.

Now the next disaster... The wedding dress I will be wearing while SIX (6) MONTHS Pregnant...

STINKY MAMA!

Today marks my 11th week of pregnancy. One thing I can tell you that is pain is being a SMELLY MAMA! I swear I sweat more than before and therefore my deodorant gives up on me! I walk about 2 blocks from where I park to work and in this heat... ewwww! Luckly I have a survival kit at my desk/cubicle and freshen up when I need it! I wonder if anyone else has been a stinky mama!!

Scary Baby Stuff

Today was a bit scary for me. For the past few weeks I have been feeling flank and lower groin pain. I know that most of this is normal as I "stretch." However this pain was weird and this morning, while flipping over I felt sharp pain... I had enough...

We went to the Memorial Miramar ER where I got all sorts of check ups. It turns out that I am 10 weeks pregnant not 8 and that I have a UTI.

This is GROSS but also common... so, me who wont take anything more than an Asprin for ANYTHING had to take ZOFRAN for nausea while I drank a gallon of water for the ultrasound and now for a WEEK I have to take MACROBID for the UTI.. I have been assured by several people that its OK....

oh well.. I am very happy I decided to go the ER because a UTI can cause me to lose the baby.

While they did the ultrasound I was on high alert to see the baby and the heart beat... at first I could not see him... (it turned out they were looking at my Ovaries first.. which has a cyst in it too! DAMN IT!) then I saw him and the flicker of the heart beat... it was a relief...

So I am good for now... took the nasty MACROBID, ate and am looking foward to wash my hair and sleep on clean sheets!

Motherhood

I am happy to announce that I am expecting my first child! It was not a "surprise" as we wanted to have a baby, we just did not expect it to happen so soon! I am about 8 or 9 weeks along with a possible end of January, early February Due date.

It has been difficult dealing with nausea all day long and not feeling like me, crying spells and feeling blah. Overall I am excited to be on this journey and hope to record it here.
